Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Luna Bags website at lunabags.ca and any purchase made through it. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked below. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. Luna Bags and Shopify
The website is operated by Luna Bags and is hosted on Shopify. Shopify provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products, but your purchase contract is with Luna Bags. Shopify is not responsible for the products, orders, returns, or customer service provided by Luna Bags.
2. Eligibility and account information
You must be legally able to enter into a contract where you live. If you create an account or provide checkout information, you agree that it is accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
3. Products and availability
We aim to describe and display products accurately. Colors and appearance may vary by screen or device. Product availability, descriptions, specifications, and quantities may change without notice. We may limit or discontinue products and may refuse service where permitted by law.
4. Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted when Luna Bags sends an order confirmation or otherwise confirms acceptance. We may decline, correct, or cancel an order if there is an error, suspected fraud, an availability issue, or another legitimate reason. If we cancel an accepted order, we will refund amounts paid for the canceled items.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown at checkout in the applicable checkout currency. Taxes and other charges are displayed at checkout where applicable. Payment is processed through Shopify and the payment methods available at checkout. By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
6. Shipping and delivery
Luna Bags currently ships to Canada and the United States only. Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery is 3–7 business days after processing. Delivery times vary by destination, carrier, customs processing, seasonal volume, address accuracy, and fulfillment source; this estimate is not a guarantee and delays can occasionally occur. Tracking information is provided as soon as available. Customs may hold an order; if an order remains held for more than 30 calendar days from the order date, Luna Bags will send a replacement at no additional charge. 7. Returns and refunds
Returns must be requested within 14 calendar days of delivery and are subject to the eligibility requirements, approval process, and 5% restocking fee described in our Return and Refund Policy. Luna Bags does not currently offer exchanges.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information.
9. Intellectual property
The website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, product images, design, and trademarks, are owned by Luna Bags or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit website content without written permission.
10. Reviews and user content
If you submit a review, photograph, comment, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate and lawful. You grant Luna Bags a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, and display that content for operating and promoting the business. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.
11. Third-party services and links
The website may include services, tools, or links provided by third parties. We do not control or guarantee third-party content, availability, security, or policies. Your use of a third-party service is subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
12. Prohibited use
You may not use the website for unlawful activity, fraud, abuse, infringement, harassment, unauthorized data collection, interference with security, or any activity that disrupts the website or harms Luna Bags, Shopify, or other users. You may not use automated tools to bypass access controls, security measures, or bot protections.
13. Errors and corrections
Information on the website may occasionally contain typographical errors or inaccuracies. We may correct errors, update information, adjust availability or pricing, or cancel an order affected by an error, subject to applicable law.
14. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer protection right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luna Bags and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the website or a purchase. Our liability will not be limited where the law does not permit that limitation.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse Luna Bags for losses or claims arising from your breach of these Terms, unlawful use of the website, or infringement of another person’s rights.
17. Severability and entire agreement
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the policies referenced here, are the entire agreement regarding your use of the website and replace earlier versions on the same subject.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page, and changes will apply from the effective date shown or, if no date is shown, from posting. Your continued use of the website after an update means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
19. Applicable law
These Terms are interpreted under the laws that apply to the transaction and your consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Disputes will be handled by the courts or dispute-resolution process required by applicable law.
